So I am probably one of very few if any people in the country who has an HP Touchpad. And the cool thing is, the default OS is awesome, but Android on it even better! I got CyanogenMod working on it for a few days now, and I am loving it!

So, anyone else here got an HP Touchpad? Put CyanogenMod on it?

If you guys want screenshots, do ask.

Cool, congrats!

I'm still rocking webOS 3.04, but I am dreaming about electric sheep/androids!

Maybe when Cyanogen-based ICS surfaces I'll make the jump...

The only bad thing about buying a TouchPad? Accessories cost more than the 'Pad itself! $107 for the Touchstone, keyboard and cover!

did u buy it before the price drop?
After, and on Ebay while in the UK, so did not quite get the special, but got it for little over 2k.

Here is my main screen atm. Starting to take shape.

I see my Clockr widget has the incorrect time. Will see about fixing that sometime.

@chris2.0, Yeah, I get you! Bought a Case Logic bag yesterday for almost R250, which is way too expensive, but tired of not having anything to put it in. Will get a proper cover for it some time.

About the Android, it is really cool. I would say that if there is a stable release of 2.3 it would be worth it, but right now it does have issues. The cool thing is it is dual boot, so I can use both WebOS 3.04 or Cyanogenmod. WebOS is just way too cool to drop, and Android is just way too unstable to have alone. I havent really been in WebOS much since my flash, but that is because I am playing with Android too much. There are 1 or 2 things I still prefer WebOS for, but Android has an incomparable amount of apps available, and that is why I use it so much.

Could try another Bluetooth keyboard? But considering the pad was originally 400-500quid, those accessories are not too bad. If the price drop was for the extras, this pad will be even more awesome, but that is not the case unfortunately:-(

I think you are going to love it! I switch between WebOS and Android every once in a while. Both OS's are awesome. Are you going to put Android on?
