I want to study HR Management, but don't know what steps to take, which college or university to study from...
It is a mess needless to say. I checked out some HR Manager jobs all over the net and 90% of the jobs' requirements were 5 years min experience, a degree in HR Management and so on and so forth.
Now my problem is the home school I studied with never gave me my grade 10, 11 certificates and are putting up a fuss with my matric exams and certificate. So I'm studying through my CV and exemptions.
I will be 24 in October, and want to study perhaps next year and will most likely need a matric exemption.
Here are the options I could find but if anyone has better advice for me that would be greatly appreciated.
UNISA
Bachelor of Commerce: Human Resources Management = 3 years
Honours Bachelors of Commerce: Human Resources Management = 1 year
Post Graduate : Human Resources Management = 1 year
Ok, so that is 5 years and I have a degree in HR Management, but there are these pre-requisites that I do not understand to save my life as they are all in code...
College SA
SAIM Business Management: Human Resources Management Diploma (with certificate)
and then a list of extra courses to improve my HR Management Diploma...
That will also come to about 5 years.
What is the best thing to do and is there any other route to take? I know it won't be easy, studying never is, but any help and info would be much appreciated. I can't afford expensive courses, but need to know what is out there and what is available to me...
