HSDPA on Nokia 6710 Navigator?

Does HSDPA work on this phone? I can not reach 3G speeds using this phone, even though I have full 3G coverage! I subscribed to 7.2Mbps Vodacom data bundles to see if there'll be a change...still no difference

I tried checking for firmware updates from Nokia, but there aren't any. Can anyone please advice. Thanks.

Could be caused by congestion on the BTS. Have you logged a call with 082155 regarding this? Also, what time of day are you connecting? Have you tried to see if your speed increases say around 9 in the evening?

Vodacom says it's a software problem...they can't help. The connection speed does not improve, no matter the time of day. There has never been a day where I reached even 500 kbps!

If you bought it from Vodacom as an HSUPA-capable phone and you are paying extra for that profile, then Vodacom needs to refund you if it can't do it.
