Hi All

Does anyone know when the HTC 7 Mozart will be available in S.A?
I see the HTC 7 Trophy is now available at Vodacom.

Virgin mobile got a specail on it @ the moment.
They should have stock,give them a call.
 
I just put in a call and queried it for you guys. The HTC Mozard failed network testing on Vodacom, so for the time being it will not be released. It might be reconsidered should the manufacturer rectify the issues and it gets re-tested. Sorry guys. Looks like the Trophy is the way to go for now. See the Trophy thread I created.

How did it fail? They couldn't figure out how to get Vodafone Live on it? Their logo wouldn't show up when the phone booted? :p

haha...funny bunny. :-) He did not say. All he could tell me was it failed and untill such time that HTC dont rectify the issues, it wont be considered for a release on Vodacom. Further than that I cant tell you. Sorry.

hi peeps any news about the htc desire hd in south africa...and when will it be available plzz

lab88 has the mozart on pre-order for R6888 - if you buy it cash, and use it on the VC network, will it work, considering that it failed VC testing? How does VC cater for that?

(And then not to derail, but ocleroux, do you have any word on the HTC Desire Z?)
 
Speak to Sean at Lab88 - he has a few Mozarts available now before official launch next week. After wrestling with tech-lust I've decided to delay gratification and wait for the HD7.
 
Bad news for those on MTN - no Mozart until February 2011! In fact no, windows 7 phones on MTN until February 2011.
