Good stuff, the official HTC Froyo release is now the base of LeeDrOiD 1.7

Follow my signature link to get it for yourself :)

Official Android upgrade adds new hboot and locks your fone down...rather go with leedroids upgrade

Sigh! Lee sometimes moves way too fast! But it's all good:-) Just finished the downloads, and backups. And kudos to Titanium backup! Just imagine flashing without it! With it is already such a mission...

Has anybody tried NeoPhyTe ROM? I see it has a Battery Save version of the ROM... Can anybody confirm that bat life is better? Or what I can do/use to make life easier on my battery? I have installed Juice Plotter and Juice Defender but I am not exactly sure how it works...

Right guys! Don't know how many of you are using LeeDrOiD Mod, but it has been upped to version 2.0! There are lots of optional custom themes and extra downloads included as well!

And let me be the first to congratulate (well, the first here I think) our own home grown trinityEon for the work he has done and posted on XDA! Very well done buddy, I am downloading LeeDrOiD 2.0a and your carbon theme as I am typing this! Good job and keep it up man!

PS: Follow the links in my sig for LeeDrOiD and trinityEon's work if you like the sound of it ;)

Have you tried Launcher Pro yet?

I'm using LauncherPro and WidgetLocker at the moment - I like the clean look you can achieve by hiding the notification bar and having a widget clock rather than the Sense bar on the lockscreen... I've only just started really fiddling around with the phone's layout and whatnot; things aren't likely to stay unchanged for very long.

Anyway yes I don't use Sense either, I just love the LeeDrOiD ROM... But I run Launcher Pro, best home replacement on the market IMO!

I was on LeeDroid 1.9 with A2SD+ for a day, but I think I did something wrong somewhere with the EXT partition... my phone conked out on me in a big way. I couldn't get half my software installed, the phone rebooted intermittently, everything that did run FCd... was not cool. And all that because I wanted the 512mb EXT partition so I could go on a market installing spree without worrying about storage space. So, I decided to go the complete opposite route of where I was heading. Dump Sense along with everything else that's non-essential, install what I'm actually going to use, and hopefully end up with a fast, clean, stable phone. So far so good - I've got most of what I want installed (including Nav) and I've got 55mb to toy with without A2SD+

Dunno if you've tried DeFroST yet, but it's also quite slick. It comes with the Cyanogen tweaks and the DeFroST setup proggie, which allows you to install kernel/notification bar mods and whatnot, is very nicely implemented.
