HTC Desire HD replacement screen

So my daughter decided to drop my phone face down and shattered the screen. Does anyone know what the cost of replacing the screen would cost and where to take it besides leaf?

I did exactly the same thing as your daughter. :(

Just took my sim out and dropped it in the rubbish bin. Not keen on ordering a screen from China and for that price you can just as well buy a new phone cash, or get yourself a Samsung Galaxy S on the R145 a month contract from CellC - the Galaxy S is also running Gingerbread now.
 
Decided to get the screen and do it myself rather... going price is around +-$50. Don't intend taking out another contract, have 4 already!

Its not easy swapping out the screen - I attempted to do one my self when Rectron claimed water damage... which was later proved to be a lie.

Rather order the screen and take it to a back street cellphone shop :p
