HTC Desire S as a computer modem/router?

Hi,

Real noob wireless user question here. I know the following will probably work, but I just want to be hundreds it will work on my setup before I buy.

So I've decided to buy an unlocked HTC Desire S. I've got Windows 7. I'm on MTN prepaid and will buy prepaid data bundles. With that setup will I be able to use the HTC Desire S as a modem for my computer? I know the HTC Desire S connects internally to the internet, but the most important thing for me is using it (and MTN prepaid data bundles) as a modem for my computer so I can connect the computer itself to the internet. Will that work?

Yes, it'll work. You can connect via USB cable (tethering) or create a wifi network from your phone.
