HTC Dream availability

What I really want to know, is if the HTC Dream is actually available. MTN have advertised it since the beginning of May, and on the mtnsp.co.za website, it is listed as being available from 7 May. It is now 3 June, and my local MTN Connect store says that stock has not landed yet?? And when I try use the MTN Direct website, it says they will contact me within 24 hours. That was on the 28th of May. 1 week ago! Is this an indication of the type of service I'm going to get from MTN??? No stock availability, and no contacting potential customers. I mean come on. I'm wanting to give you R529 a month. If it were me, I'd have phoned within 24 hours, in all honesty.

I have the same with vodacom and the Magic, no Vodashops have any idea whats going on. At least Nashua mobile could at least tell me they expect them in the last week of June

Hello guys. I have confirmed that VSP have recieved stock of the HTC Magic. It is a very limited quantity though so ask your Vodacom store to order it in for you today still if you want one before it runs out. Because it is a expensive phone, the stores most likely will not keep many on hand and will order as the need presents itself.

Just spoke to Nashua again, they say they are getting the stock on the 15'th and have confirmed that Vodacom has begun releasing stock to the vodashops!

Like I said. Stock is there for the Vodashops and other VSP affiliated dealers...but limited quantities so not going to last very long and not sure when next shipment is coming in. To avoid dissapointment, get your order to the closest Vodacom (VSP) dealer very very soon. Nashua I think might carry their own stock so not sure what the story is there.
