I downloaded a version with the video function off market - will the latest market version retain that functionality? Don't want to override a working version and then have to reinstall.

what version are you currently running? the latest version is 2.1.0.46 and allows you to switch between front and back cam for video

I'm running 2.0.0.47, so I guess I should try the latest one.
