HTC Hero: Where is the White?

So after much debate, I decided my next phone will definitely be the HTC Hero.
After a brief chat with the guys down in Vodacom, I was informed that they do not stock the white version of the phone.
It seems as though Vodacom is sticking with the dark variety and won't be supplying the white

Well this was dissapointing, especially when CellC, MTN and Virgin had no idea when they will be providing the phone and what colour they will supply.
As far as I know, didn't Leaf back in September say they were gonna supply the dark AND white version of the phone in SA?

So what now? Anyone know where the heck I can get this phone in white!?

white's at www.cacell.co.za with 1 yr warrantee at about R5700... only place in SA i found that keeps it so far...

Just got a response from Leaf, apparently they only supply one colour in SA.
that would be the dark version then.
Bummer. Guess it'll have to do.
