guys that find the official rom laggy
how are are your phones?
if its over 6 months and no hardware issues. i suggest rooting and installing this rom from xda

its much better than the one htc gave.basically its the same.but faster and the few bugs fixed
rolling back to gb is quite sad to hear

Bit off topic but have you thought about flashing a custom ROM?
I have a Desire HD and flashed a custom ROM after HTC said that they were not going to release ICS anymore. I first flashed a ICS ROM which was good but performance took a bit of a hit. I recently (about a month ago) flashed JellyBean 4.1.2 and it works perfectly. Performance is same or better than it was with the original stock ROM and everything (as far as I know or have used) works just fine.
It gave my Desire a new lease on life. Was going to replace it but can now hold on until the Galaxy S4 comes out next year.
