HTC One (2014)

I hope there isn't already a thread for the HTC One (2014) or the HTC One Two or whatever they gonna call it. I searched but couldn't find anything. If there is a thread, could the mods please forgive my incompetence and perhaps merge it.

Here's is what seems to be the first video of the new HTC One. It seems some chop kid managed to get his hands on it (possibly from his parents). See source here.

FYI. The amateur video is painful to watch but I guess you get to see the phone. And from the uproar it caused on twitter, this may be the real deal.

If it really does have an SD card slot, this will be my new phone this year.

I'm done with HTC. Lack of support in SA has left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not due for an upgrade but for those who are, that Sony Z2 is looking sweet.

That's what worries me. Samsung's Support is excellent which actually made me buy the S4. Don't know how Sony is.

I watched that clip yesterday.

I decided that this year is the year for a new phone. I'm quite ampt for a flagship and I do love HTC's.

But the poor support and lack of stock is a huge killer - even the "old" HTC One is hard to come by, so I don't have much hope for the new one.

Will probably land up with an S5.
