HTC One M7 or Samsung S4

Hi all,

My sister wants a new phone (she's got the HTC) and my brother is using an S4...

Should my brother get the HTC or keep his Samsung? The other will be sold off

Depends on what your brother values. The S4 has a superior camera (overall, but in a lot of conditions the One is actually better barring the resolution) and expandable storage, but in all other areas, the One is better IMO. If he can live with the amount of storage on the One, and is not too perturbed by the low resolution of the camera, it's a no brainer for me.

The Galaxy S4 Movie Mode delivers the closest Color and White Point calibration to the standard sRGB/Rec.709

Standard mode is over saturated though.

Never mind that, it's S-AMOLED which means pure blacks.

I know, but other places have obtained different results even in Movie mode. And it still doesn't address the higher saturation levels prevalent to AMOLED, but I really don't blame their popularity- they're awesome displays. The Note 4 display is nothing short of amazing.

Yeah, I'm the Note 4 display kills the S4 by a long shot. Most places say it's the best current mobile display out there.

It really is a pretty special display. I wish that Samsung would not be so stingy with their top-of-the-line panels.
