The next iteration of HTC’s flagship Android smartphone was officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress.

He is talking about the black bar going away. Anandtech spoke to the HTC rep about it and apparently it is needed for the gpu side of things.

It is a bit disappointing that there is still a black bar on the bottom of the display, HTC representatives stated that this continues to be necessary to fit display drivers and other circuitry.

I always liked the HTC better than the Samsung but I am afraid I will pick the S6 above the M9. The S6 is a revolutionary new design.

You're on drugs. They just copied the iphne 6+. It looks horrible. Then also no SD card slot and no water proofing anymore?

Agreed. QHD is nice, but better suited to phablets and tablets, IMO.
