HTC One Purple Camera Glitch - Did you take it back?

Hi guys.

Anybody who has used an HTC One for more than a few months would soon notice that the camera has a terrible glitch, because ZOE software causes the sensor burn up, thereby causing the infamous "pink or purple camera glitch".

My question is, has anybody taken theirs back, and did Vodacom replace it with a new phone, or did they fix the camera?

Thanks but while I still have warranty, I want to get it fixed, regenersis will charge me, correct?
 
Regenersis are the official HTC agents for SA. They won't charge you or repair.

All M7 will be replaced that have the purple camera problem. I replaced mine in March. Quick painless and I got a brand new phone.
 
Thanks guys. I really appreciate the feedback. Spoke to Essa and he's going to help out and sort it. Just have to backup and wipe the phone.
 
OP, which model are you referring to? The M7 had that issue, and Regenersis replaced mine without hassle. Hope you are not saying thta the M8 or M9 has the same issues?

If the M7, why only now? That model is 2 years + old. Where did you get a new old one. Or old new one?

It's M7, don't worry! I'm bringing it up now because my warranty is expiring next month.
