HTC One SV or HTC WP 8S

So I'm now looking for a basic-ish phone. The two above seem to be what I'd like to get or possibly a S3 Mini. I'm using a Note 2 now and this will be a second phone.

Need it to run whatsapp and have a fairly OK camera. Not much else.:)

I feel like taking the 8S so that I can give WP a try without changing my Note 2 for something like a 920... But that is not a very necessary criteria, just one that would be nice :)

The One SV is obviously the better phone, also R200 more but its worth it for the additional specs...

So my question is, does anyone have one or has used one of these two phones? What's it like and how's the battery life?

Now considering my situation, I have an android tablet, android phone and iPod Touch as well... I'm thinking of just selling the Note 2 within the near future and move over to one of these two when I no longer need two phones - I'm leaning towards the 8S:whistle:.

I'm not worried about size and specs wise, it seems like WP is less dependent on good specs. So what should I get??:D
 
You seem like a gadget guy. Might as well try the 8S.
 
I ordered a HTC One SV from Esquire last week and received it today. Once its all charged up I will let you know what I think.

Looking forward to this. Currently looking at HTC One SV Vs Moto G.
 
The phone fits well in the hand and feels of quality.

Heres a follow up.

After using my new phone over the weekend I am quite happy with it.
Now almost used to HTC Sense, also had to disable a lot of bloatware.
I get 2 days on a charge, with power saver on and data and wifi turned off from 11pm to 6am.
