Hi all,

My 3 month old P3400 took a jump off my desk the other day and ended up with a crack across the LCD screen:

Now, I don't have insurance on the phone, and I doubt the warranty covers fall damage/damage to the LCD, so I'm wonder who do I take it to to have it repaired, and most importantly, approximately how much I'm going to be spending.

The phone still works, can make and receive calls, the touch screen still works, but the LCD obviously needs to be replaced.

I've tried phoning Leaf (0113261844) about 10 times over the past 2 days, and I've sent them 1 email ([email protected]) so far; no response once they put me through to Repairs (it just rings) and no reply on the email. I'm planning on visiting the MTN centre at Century City over the weekend.

Thanks in advance :)

Hey Swift412, I had an Imate Jamin which is very similar to the P3400 and broke my LCD, it cost R1362.46 to repair - Hope that helps...

Order an LCD off ebay... I have one waiting at the post office at the momen for my Mio A700, cost about R750

hey Swift i know a cell phone shop that can do it 4 R1000

A mate of mine broke the screen on his HTC (think it was a hytan ... or something like that). It cost him nearly R4000 and it took 4 months!!

Leaf sux ... so dont wait for them to get back to you ... keep on them!

Leaf charged me R720, this was last October. The phone, with it's replaced screen is still working fine.
