I connected to my wireless connection, but my phone did not want to connect to any websites, now i messed around with the setting and now nothing works:D. can anyone help me please

k I fixed the settings, I think, but i can still not access any websites??

How is your internet setup?

Is it a normal Wifi ADSL router that does the PPPOE connection or do you do a PPPOE connection from your PC and then use the internet?

yeah,

Network authentication: WPA - personel
data encryption: aes-ccmp

Can you connect from your HTC to your router, normally the URL is "htpp://10.0.0.2"?

Hi,

I'm going home, so I cant give you any feedback to night. Hope you get your problem resolved.

Regards,

how will i know

Enter the address into your cellphones browser.

got this warning: cannot log to the wireless network. this network requires a personal certificate to positively identify you

But it looks like you can't even connect to the network. I have a S710 so will try tonight to connect to a wireless network to give your clearer instructions.

You might also try to open op your Wifi network first and see if you can connect to the internet and afterword close it down.

Regards,

Ok I opened up my WiFi, and the phone is now connecting to the wireless network as well as connecting to the internet, so it must be something to do with the authentication.

Edit: Ok no its not, it keeps going through edge???

Its not connecting to router as well

YOU need to switch the phone off, under the communications menu. Option 2. Switch off and you will be able to have a stable connection over Wifi and browse freely.

I installed a WIFI dongle on my laptop and created a ad-hoc connection so im running hsdpa on the little man now in the evenings before i got to lala land.
