Hmmmm, Samsung Galaxy S II has the AMOLED screen....... those are very nice. Guess I'll have to check it out as a possible alternative.

Sense 3.0 is a plus for the Sensation, but I think the SGS2 will be my next phone when it arrives.
I also think the SGS2 will probably get here first, I recon mid-May.

Very cool phone, great specs. Just a pity there are STILL no legitimate FOTA updates for the desire HD yet.

Are you kidding? It's a no brainer. Get the Samsung. There is a review on gsmarena and they say the Samsung is still the best ATM.

im keeping an eye on prices...very keen on this phone. will see

My upgrade is only in November so I've got some time to see how they pan out before making a decision. And of course price will make a difference as well.

Was that review done after they had reviewed the Sensation? Doubtful, and so a deeper comparison is required.

That's right, but once again the Sensation isn't comaped there yet. Can't wait for a head to head comparison between the 2.

No, it is not. Samsung is just pulling a very clever trick. The Galaxy is still using the current 480 x 800 pixel screen res, whereas the Sensation is running the newer and higher screen res of 540 x 960 pixels. Obviously the Samsung will win every test, as it has far less pixels to draw on the screen. Duh!

The Sensation is a gorgeous phone and the higher screen res will be simply fantastic to use.
