Hi,

I have a HTC Sensation with HTC Sense 3.0 afaik.

However when i try to register an account for the HTC Sense, I fail to find South Africa in the country list, Does this mean ZA is not supported? has anyone else registered? registered using a different country?
Does it even matter what country i use to register?

Thanx

ps, i did a search on myBB and found nothing on the first page :wtf:

When I got my Desire HD in December 2010, you could select South Africa and register an account.

Since then, HTC has removed South Africa from the list and I think you must use UK, or any other country to register.

It sucks.

I registered an account last week, had to use the UK and a family members UK phone number

WTF, seriously this is most annoying... I don't have a family member in the UK...
This is a great phone, but what use is it if I can't use the whole HTC sense.

Is this something to do with our mobile operators not supporting it? or on HTC who says "who gives a F^&*, its only SA"..

I also have a sensation and registered using the UK, I can't remember but managed to put my cell phone number i.e. Vodacom number in the registration field. Just checked even now, I can make my phone ring and also locate it. I registered two weeks ago.

Ok, So I registered and it seems to be working just fine.
However I thought I would get more info in an email (the one I registered with) after the registration but nothing as of yet.

Ill just give it a quick google to see where (which website I can log into) I can check my phone location etc
