HTC SNAP - YOUR OPINIONS?

Hi guys, my sister is upgrading her contract very soon, shes on TopUp135 and she has her heart set on getting an HTC Snap - which is free with the contract.
What i would like to know is what this phone is like especially with MXit - she is a heavy MXit user so if it doesnt work well with MXit let me know she will get something else. i am not very familiar at all with windows mobile phones so your opinions would be great. my sister is a teen who doesnt really need 3G and all of that - just MXit & Facebook and the usual phone stuff.

I realy wouldnt get the snap , i would proberly choose the Nokia 6760 if it was looking for that sort of phone i read some realy good things about the qwerty keyboard .
the BlackBerry 8520 and Nokia 5530 seem to be in the same price category too, although the 5530 is full touch screen may not be a very good messenger. My opinion may be souly based on the fact that i dont fancy windows mobile too much

Great phone, have one myself and use it everyday. Great battery life, and office apps etc but mxit has crashed every time I've tried to load it on. Could be because I'm using a custom win mobile 6.5 Rom and not the standard HTC one, but I have tried many times without success wrt mxit. If she could get it right to load though, typing is a breeze and emailing / sms's are so easy to do rattle off. May just be a bit too much for a teenager with regards to everything that it offers though. To put it into context, my 16yr old son gave it a miss so it may not be ''cool'' enough for her in the end.

yeah i thought that was the case. i have advised her to either get a Nokia or Sony Ericsson. she's not a fan of Nokia so shes probably going to get the Sony Erection C903.
