HTC Sync with Andorid phone on Windows 8

Anyone managed to use HTC sync and Windows 8 Developer Preview.

I have HTC DHD and using USB cable I can use explorer but HTC sync and Internet pass-through does not work. Problem is the driver in Device manager is missing but no driver comes with the phone for Windows 7.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to download and install the latest HTC Sync from HTC?

use easytether if u want to use ur phone as a modem

Try installing the driver manually as Administrator?

The drivers exe download or latest HTC sync does not solve it.

Well then you have 2 options left

Wait for Windows 8 Drivers or try and find something that works. Seeing that its a Beta OS that is very much in development you may have to resort to On phone back-ups and copy files using USB or maybe try something like http://mysynccenter.net/

Just downloaded the latest Sync on Win8Pro64 - also no dice.
