HTC Touch Diamond + Activesync

Hi Guys

Please help me, i am not sure if this was posted before but anyways, i cannot seem to get activesync to detect my HTC Diamoond.
Checked windows firewall, all is ok there.
Tried different settings on the device, no luck.
even installed a fresh copy of Windows XP and still no luck.

Has anyone been having the same issues?

when the diamond gets plugged in in should ask to be a disk drive or Activesync
check : start settings, connections, USB to PC..

did you know that is has a fully functioning GPS in? i found it out with a shock. google maps works great with it.

It asked me that once and never again, i have tried those settings, changed them around and still no luck.

Yip, used google maps a few times with it, great stuff.

tick the ask about option and reconnect. then go to device manager in windows xp and look for the generic rndis or something like it. uninstall it if you find it. if you dont find it go to active sync on the phone . go to menu connetions and make sure that the "sync all pc`s.." is checked
