I've read a couple of reviews on both phones but the reviews were all dated months ago when these babies were just released. I'd like an updated view on which one of these 2 I should go for?

I'm leaning towards the Diamond but the reviews all said that Touch Flo 3D was laggy but I've also read that this has been addressed in later ROMs. Is this true?

Also, I'm not really into the whole QWERTY keyboard thing but if the Pro is really a lot better than the Diamond, I'd have to choose the Pro.

So, what are the opinions on these phones right now?

Which one should I choose and why?

Over the diamond the touch pro has qwerty keyboard, TV-out, micro SD slot (no 4GB onboard though) and more RAM. Apart from these reasons I would go for the touch pro since that 2.8" screen is a bit small for messaging. It really is not too big IMO.

Ive got the diamond. Yes the stock roms are a bit sluggish, but their are many different cooked ones that are awesum. I like the stylish design of the diamond but i prefer to have a keyboard. it can be difficult to sms on the touch screen (a bit to small) so the qwerty keyboard is a huge plus.

I agree. I have a HTC P3400, touch screen only - it's a nightmare to type on this thing. Was novel at first but it's almost impossible to type one-handed, while walking, while in the car... etc
I was hesitant about the Touch Pro because I thought it was gonna big n bulky but I've discovered it's shorter & narrower than my P3400, just a few mm fatter.
So when I get a chance, I'll definitely pick up a Touch Pro (unless I get my paws on a G1 first tho... :D)
