How do I configure my laptop to use my HTC TyTN 2 as a modem?

You don't. Simply install activesync on your computer (If WinXP) or update mobile device center in Vista. On your TyTn2 look under programs for "Internet Sharing". Run it and click the connect button, it should do everything for you.

Thank you. Works great. I am typing this with my HTC as my modem.

Prob now is, when I go to a site that I have used and changed to mobi on my phone and then tether it to my laptop as a modem, it goes to the mobi site and causes probs. I cannot see my yahoo email in desktop mode. Only in mobile.
Even if I change the site to say, www.yahoo.com, it will automatically change to www.m.yahoo.com.
