I'm looking for a protective case for my Tytn ii - this looks perfect but 32$ is a bit steep !

oh, the tip...

The useless plastic screen cover that comes with the Tytn ii - replace it with Screen Guard.

For those in Cape Town - I took mine to Samsung in Montague Gardens and got it done while I waited.

Around R 80.00 for three covers. A bargain.
 
Oh - and a split cable that allows me to use the headset while charging at the same time would be more than useful .....
 
You can also visit Justmobile in Milnerton.........I just purchased a spare battery and desktop cradle/charger and new screen protector

I purchased the Hybrid case (same price) from Seidio. Must say, it is exactly what I wanted - a case which adds very little to the size of the phone, allows me to keep the phone in my pocket and also allows me to slide the keyboard without removing the cover. It looks very sexy too with the transparent front face.

They say that the Martin Fields screen protectors outlast the phone. This specific one comes with protectors for both of the phone's cameras as well. The price is a bit steep though, actually way too steep - I swear that I purchased a single pack for less even with shipping costs added. My first order got lost somewhere though, but they were kind enough to resend a new package. The screen protector is much more sturdy than the stock one - I can feel the difference when using the stylus or my finger.

And finally, I thought that the eXpansys 3 in 1 adapter would be perfect, but I have not ordered one yet. Last time I checked - shipping the adapter costs more than the adapter itself :eek:. The idea was to get this adapter and install it in my car. Then when the phone is connected, it can charge, output music to my car sound system and I can use the hands free. Haven't really followed up on this idea yet though.

Did they send it to SA? How long did it take?
 
The sheets are cut to the size of the cellphone screen and laid on top.

Different cellphones, different measurements.

Took around 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly. Initially they didn't have stock so it took about a week for my order status to change to "Shipped".
 
On my credit card statement:
@ Seidio Inc 57.95 424.32
so 57.95 in dollars and 424.32 in rands.

There was an additional charge after it arrived in the country - around R60. I presume that was Customs' slice of the pie. I say 'presume', because I was not there when the parcel arrived at my house, so I told the person who received it on my behalf to pay the charge.

No problems whatsoever - I did email them once though, because I didn't see a tracking number for my parcel. They responded very quickly to my email informing me that the shipping method did not include a tracking number, but then it got shipped via another method, which did have one, so they gave that tracking number to me. I then regularly checked the shipping status of the parcel with this tracking number.

All in all, I will buy from them again. Their items are a bit expensive (and so is the shipping), but I do not feel ripped off at all - the case is excellent and I couldn't have gotten a better one to suit my needs.
