Having no GPS is a serious omission, as it is advertised as a GPS Receiver equipped device.
Just to clarify further: The TyTN II that we get here in SA does not come with GPS/Navigation software.Just to avoid confusion for some, the Tytn II does have a GPS receiver but doesn't come with software to access it
There's lots of free software that you can download to test.... or even trial versions
Hi Guys , im getting my Tytn 2 today ! cant wait even did an early upgrade at 19months ! wel anyway i just thought that it would be nice for all of you who have sourced cool aps for the phone to perhaps post the links on the forum in a new topic for all Tytn 2 users to check out/ download. And perhaps one of you generous souls could put them into a nice category for us.
I do have a link to share but perhaps someone with a bigger list can start a new thread for it.

This is THE place for HTC TyTN II (aka Kaiser) information, downloads and discussions. I've downloaded so many apps and customized my TyTN II quite a lot, based on information available in those forums. There really is a wealth of information, but you do need quite a bit of free time on your hands to read through it all![]()
Have you had that nagging feeling that you TyTN II is not as responsive as your 4 year old i-mate Pocket PC?
