I'm on MTN. I heard something about MTN upgrading or Maintenance on the 3G networ.

Will set it back to Auto and check it out.
 
Hi all,

Any of you tried one of Schaps' ROMS? Looks quite decent, but I like my Black look ... can load the skins and what not though ... your thoughts?

Havent tried Schaps yet but have tried sleuths and Black satin and Black Satin rocks - Stabillity, speed, looks.
 
Yeah, can't complain with Satin... Prob the best ROM so far i guess.. What ur guys views on it?

Im also on radio 1.47 - i don't know what to think of it yet. I think it's just these Imates that have shti reception cos my N73 never used to grind me with calls...

I've been thru almost every RADIO out there since 1.18....

Its my first post and as a starter, I have some basic Q's......

When i am trying to install some applications, downloaded from FreewarePPC.com on my JasJam, I am getting a message that the application is not a "Valid PPC application..". Gosh I tried with so many applications and still the same issue.

Can someone please help...

You have to run the application from your pc. It installs to the pocket pc via active sync. You can install some apps directly on the pocket pc, the files are normally .cab. Most of them install from the pc though.
 
Anyone have the latest on the official WM6 release from Leaf? Is it still happening? Thought it was supposed to be released by now?

No idea ... couldn't be too bothered either ... I had a glimpse of the official ROM, nothing special ... my Black Satin is tuned to perfection now (apart from the radio thats still a bit dodgy).

can you let me know the procedure for activesync as i tried looking for active sync applications but couldn't and i am running Xp on my laptop. heard vista syncs automatically.

please help.

Search Windows.com for "activeSync" ... it should be one of their most popular downloads ... Here we go

What are Radios and their different versions? how do they differ? :confused:

I sent an email to Leaf, here is the response:


Hi Elias,

Unfortunately the release has been delayed due to Licensing issues.
The estimated release date is the 15’th of August.

Hey guys, hold off on updating your radios.

Leaf should release one optimized for SA networks with the new ROM. Until then, 1.43 seems the best.

BTW, am loving sleuth's v3.1 ROM w Schaps comm manager, custels black theme and Kaiser HTC home plugin. best so far.
