HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

omg u guys what one is better? teh jasjam or tytn? I dont wanna read 110 pages and I think Im gonna buy one of these guys 2day. they lewk so kewl! I mostly wanna use it for getting foned by peeps and foning them back and stuff but also 4 using my dsl when Im at home with wifi :)
 
Another thing, i've tried looking for Storage Card fix.

Can't find it, can someone please post a link as to where it is?

i didnt read the whole post ... what i do know is the first 2 gig Micro SD cards where a hash up ... the twinMoss cards took a long time to finally get here and they work perfectly well
 
I found the fix...

Do the following reg. hack (numbers are in DECIMAL!:
[HKLM\System\StorageManager]
"PNPUnloadDelay" = dword:8196
[HKLM\System\StorageManager]
"PNPWaitIODelay" = dword:8196

does the fix work ???? is it specific to a certain ROM ???? i havent had a problem so far ... which ROM are you using.

Not really. Apparently the only difference is that it fixes WCDMA on the 850Mhz band. Not applicable to SA users then.

tried to dowload it and got this reply:

"Thanks you for your interest in Deepfish; At this time the tech preview has reached the limit of initially available installations. We will send you a notification if we make additional spots available at a later date. "

What a pity - iwas looking forward to a trying it out. Does anyone know where else I can get a copy from?

Leaf, who supplies the HTC devices, has confirmed that they will be releasing an official WM6 upgrade in May 07. The new i-Mate supplier has yet to confirm if they will provide this to their customers as well. In my humble opinion, go for the Tytn with a confirmed WM6 upgrade path. Alternatively go for the Jasjam and be happy to possibly be stuck with cooked Roms for the rest of its days.
 
htc tytn battery life

Hi. My battery life is shocking to say the least. Even bought a second battery...still no good.
No blue-tooth or online usage...or sometimes minimal to check mail.
A freinds Imate Jasjam, with much higher usage goes on much longer...

Help with info someone....

1) Tell us what software you are running - WM5 or WM6 (version)
2) Radio version
3) Software installed
4) Active services
