What exactly is IPL v1.04?

Think of it as the startup of the machine, that boots the BIOS (SPL)

I might be heading this way as well. Can't get PhoneAlarm to work. Seems the latest beta version is causing my device to Hard Reset itself.

Other than that it looks exactly the same. Acrobat is a big improvement for pdf.

I seem to have stabalised mine with the PhoneAlarm 1.58 propper.

As I dumped emoze push mail in BE 2.0 there is no chance it is gonna work here, so I am looking for a new push mail service.

Gonna try Web2Mail this time round............

That's exactly what I expected. I had in fact tried that but it came with the interface for when I was installing Hard-SPL v2 so thought twice before doing it.

There is a pre-packed RUU version of 1.03 available by Mr. Vanx. I put the 1.04 file in the folder where I had extracted the packed 1.03 and it took the newer one during the update.

Or at least that is what I believed had happened.

According to POF : Install HardSPL-v7, it includes IPL-1.04 also.

Ah, I've installed HardSPL v7. Seems I'll hold off on the new Black.
