So what do u think you did to fix it? And was it the original WM5 Rom from leaf?

I think it was a combination of factors:
1. Pof (xda-developers) said one must persevere with the official ROMS (it has to do with loosing the ability to flash CID locked units with custom code, and hence the official released ROMS)
2. Leaving the SIM in the unit: this afternoon when something appeared to happen, I had a SIM in, but took it out after getting a replacement phone, and then nothing seemed to make a difference. At home, I popped in my twincall SIM, in conjunction with 3:
3. Run the Firmware updates from the ||s drive, and not a network mapped drive.
Yes, it was the AKU3 ROM from Leaf

Congrats dude.... NOW GET RID OF THAT GREEN MONSTER ROM!!! 
(And try the new Radio again - i'm sure it wasn't really to blame!!!)

Black X is back on, and Radio 1.54.00.10 loaded ... not too sure I want to try the 1.54.07.00 one again

it was the paralells network drive man!!!
the other night when i bricked mine with the Schaps ROM - i panicked and freaked and went a little nuts - but then i realised it was because the computer wasn't rebooted for like AGES (like a week) and the USB ports were doing weird things.... Then i rebooted everything - and reflashed the same ROM - no problems (but i was watching it VERY anxiously!! )
Yeah true on that one, sometimes the USB ports do **** out some times. I had the same problem when I was flashing my friends KJAM. My word was i stressing. The phone would stop at exactly 99% and then errors would pop!
Landy, glad to know you came right with your phone. I don't know what we would do if it wasn't for Olipro.
dutty's ROM almost caused me to throw my phone against the wall yesterday! Don't have time to remove it anytime soon, so I just keep on softresseting the bastard twice a day!

I have decided to rest my TyTN for a bit (until Black X is officially released probably). Currently on a N95, and some comments:
1. reception on the N95 is MUCH better than the TyTN. Full 3G against about 74% on the TyTN
2. As a result of 1, I have been able to bump my HSDPA speeds from 400b/s to 1.2mb/s in the same location
I do miss alot of the functionality on the TyTN, but at least I can properly write one handed messages in the car again

quick test..
Nice maps, but its online.
No gps connection. Cant get a setting for it and i don't see anything in the manual.
No gps means no voice navigation.
I'll stick to handymap
handymap has worked really well for me. Ai Extreme looks really good. i cant wait for the official release. they have added loads of functionality. route tracking that wasn't available on Ai gold. the app will sync perfectly with the PC version as well.

I just upgraded to WM6 Satin, its really awesome, I have search and browsed these posts, but could someone post a link to the latest Radio version, im on 1.21 and would like to upgrade to a better reliable one? can anyone help?
