HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

For some reason edge is not working on my device. I haven't been to any 3G coverage areas yet (durbanville & stellenbosch), but edge should be working in both those places. Any ideas?

By the way, the salesman who gave me the TyTn said I didn't need a U-SIM. He just activated streaming on my 2G sim. Was this wise?

damn ... you say you got a bit of a sour taste left in your mouth after using the TyTN ... What GPS software are you using on your 6915 ???

Tom Tom has got a cool Sat Nav app .. i like the fact that you can change the Voice to Celebs .. Like John Cleese my fav

I have a little problem with media player. As soon as I press the power button to lock the device media player stops.

Anyone has a work around/ setting that will change this.

when you hit the power button you pretty much turning the device off .. Hibernation ... mode ..

So I'll have to 'Device Lock' it instead of the power button?

possibly, try it out and let us know. Why do you want to "lock" it while the media player is playing?

you dont hold back do you ... it is a cool device yeah .. those tiny little keys on the keyboard annoy me ...

Sorry, don't want to ruffle any feathers I really do think it's a cool device though. Ipaq is rocking, and the 6915 is feature packed. It's just a pity about the form factor. My sausage fingers would never work on that keyboard.

Thing is, I'm noticing that i'm actually just as fast with stylus as with the keyboard. Bit weird, because I went for the TyTn specifically because it has such a nice keyboard. ah well, how was I to know
