Once you go black u never go back.

Well i just did, went back to XDA .20. Was experiencing too many jitters with Black..
 
jeepers its is getting a tad bit crazy now .. you upgrade your ROM make a phone call hit send receive and the boyz have pumped out another version

I'm loving it ......... don't install every single ROM that comes along, but have tried out a few.

At least there are choices available. Much better than the single option from the "channel".

Have not even looked yet, but presume another version was released while I took a nap ;-)

you cant afford to take a nap here dude .... Damn F1 teams dont even have this much development .. you gotta Love it

Well I'm gonna stick to this version unless there are major problems or some wizbang new release.

Everything seems to be working, I might even tempt fate and install some crud I don't really need.

The development here does not follow FIA standards and regulations.

Personally I don't see how Leaf could be so pissy about the warranty if you played about with the software. If I buy a PC with XP loaded and decide I want to stick on Linux then that does not void the warranty ...... does it ?
 
No Modem in new ROm version

Hi

After installing the latest rom from leaf, I see that the wireless modem option is not under programs any longer. So I cannot run the phone as a modem connected to the pc!

I see a new internet sharing option which allows me to access the internet through the phone from the pc. However, I can no longer run the VPN client on my pc to connect as the pc sees not "connection" with the internet sharing option.

Any ideas!??

yip wireless modem is replaced with connection sharing .... it actually works a lot better now ..
As for your VPN connection ... are you using your PDA as modem and connecting to a VPN connection ??? what are you trying to do?? you would be able to setup the VPN connection on your PDA and then set your internet connection sharing to use the connection you specified ... let me know if you need some help
 
Black 2.0 installed. Will report if I notice any changes in operation.
