HTF do you turn off voice on Live??

I'm sick of hearing yanks and poms talking their BS while I'm waiting for the next round of something! Is there any way to turn this off from the console or is it game-specific?

It's game specific unfortunately. Maybe just turn down the volume on your headset.

I know you can easily mute individuals by viewing their profile (usually available in a game main menu)

There must be away to do it, either in the guide or the systems settings it's an option for parental controls so it must be somewhere.

Don't use a headset, I have it hooked up to the home theatre and I don't want to play on mute because of them It's not even while you're just in the lobbies, they yap on during the gameplay too!

There is a way to mute somebody on your guide button but my best advice will be to get your Friends List populated with locals and then you can choose who you want to play with. If you start playing local I suggest you get a headset.
