HTML Email on your phone?

Who here gets their email on their phone?

1) Do you get it via Push or Pull?
2) Do you often respond to emails from the phone itself?
3) Does formatting matter? Are you responding to friends or important clients?
4) Does your mobile email device support HTML? What mobile device do you have?

I have 3 phones at the moment, only one of them easily supports HTML
(iPhone), the other needed an extensive software upgrade (to Windows Mobile 6) and still, I need to find an exchange 2007 host to get HTML. What I was most surprised with was my Nokia E90 doesn't support HTML email. What gives?

I like to have my emails in HTML format, I recieve quite alot which I can't really read as my phone doesn't support HTML. I respond to most of my emails from my phone itself, which is ok in plain text as their is a disclaimer in my signature that the email was sent from a mobile device.

I just wish I could have HTML email in my Nokia E90. I suppose that was an oversight.

i use push mail all the time .. most of my e-mail response is done from my phone .. ps i only Windows Mobile devices.
i dont have HTML though ... Windows Mobile 6 supports it when you use exchange 2007 .... upgrading our exchange server is gonna be a tad bit pricey and I really dont have the energy for it either ...

- I use pull e-mail
- I have 6110 Navi wiht Symbian S60 fp1
- Whenever I receive a html email I can open it through the browser via a link int the email

Have a look at Profimail it does a decent job of rendering HTML e-mails.
I prefer using GMail and reading my e-mail using a browser. You can set up GMail to fetch you e-mail from your primary e-mail address. You will then also have a convenient backup of your e-mail.

Have you tried imap on the Tytn II? for some reason mails don't display then.

I use Push on my TyTN, connected to Exchange 2003, so no HTML

I did schedule the upgrade to 2007 for the near future though

In GMAIL click on Settings in the upper right hand corner.
Click on Accounts.
Then under "Get mail from other accounts:" , click "Add another mail account".
Enter your Vodamail e-mail address.
Click on "Next step".
Enter your username, password and change the other options if need be.

HTML email and Nokia? Dude, now you've got me fired up. Why the hell can't Nokia offer HTML email on their business phones like E61 and E90?! The previous generation Nokia Communicators DID offer HTML emails, BTW.

I need two things from my business phone: (1) it should talk to Exchange Server so that my emails stay in sync and (2) it shouls support HTML emails as I don't want to hunt for text inside screens full of HTML garbage.

I have thus far been unable to find this seemingly basic combination implemented on a Nokia phone. I've looked at ProfiMail but it doesn't do Exchange Server.

How Nokia can call these things business phones if it cannot perform even the most basic of email functions is beyond me.
