Html tables please help!

lol, love the sig Raithlin!

I got another question - is it possible to add text above an image contained it the cell?
PS: the image can not be the Cells Background - it needs to be a regular image because the image contains a hyperlink.

basically, you have 200x200px tables that "word-wrap" / "stack automatically", and in each table is a pic, and above that image is text. possible?

Where in the source is the text situated? Before or after the image?

I haven't done it yet as I don't know if it's possible...
is it possible to "layer" stuff on top of each other?

PS: just a heads up here, i'm using lame-ass Frontpage, with a bit of manual coding here and there - i'm not really into html coding heheh

If the text is added before the image in the source it should render before the image in the browser...

no, you guys are not understanding - I mean above, as in, "on top" of the image.......in front - Z Axis - a New Layer.

Yeah, it's possible. Using relative positioning, I think. Whether it will work in IE6 <spit> is another matter though.

That's also possible, but with CSS "hacks" to alter the positioning of the elements. You'll have to wrap the text in a SPAN or something similar in order to position it though...

EDIT: Raithlin with his Ninja-speed replies... :p Anyway, he stated earlier in the thread that the application he's building uses IE4 controls to render the markup, so I'd add a gargle or 10 to that <spit> of yours.
