html5 tools for Linux

I'm trying to create a very simple html5 banner for a site I'm working on, nothing fancy, straight forward and simple.

Is there any tools available that will allow me to work on Linux? I have searched the interwebs but it seems my Google magic is at an all time low atm, so if anyone has any suggestions it would be well appreciated!

Eclipse? Too confusing?
then just install Dreamweaver CS5 on a windows vm/pc and copy it over to run in wine.

I will code it from scratch if anyone has a tutorial on creating a banner without any software assistance. I prefer it this way, but this is a once off thing (I hope) so the faster and easier I can get it done the better.
