Taking a shot in the dark here:

Is there anybody out there that has a HTPC case lying around and consider to get rid of? :D

Specifically looking for the ones that fit into your display...laying flat and looks like a home theatre component.....prices are crazy for the new ones and then it doesn't even have a psu.

Absolutely love this....but the price tag.....:(

I have one laying around at home that I am not using.
I don't know if I want to part ways with it because I am planning on buying a MINI-ITX system for it.

The only reason why I bought it was because I wanted to fit my current system into it but there is not enough space for my water cooling system.

I have this case htpc.JPG

It is too long (depth) (W: 430mm H: 135mm D: 452mm) for my tv display cupboard.....also the vfd display is parallel, and I dont have the harness for it.

430 seems to be the standard size for these cases. I tried to fit my receiver and case into my TV stand, side by side, but all I need was 2 cm to make it fit.

I asked someone on the forum to build me a case as he custom build cases as a hobby... he decided not to reply to my emails anymore.
O well.

Finding the proper case with the perfect measurements is extremely difficult.

I am going the route of building a custom stand and running everything through a projector eventually.

Cool....If I could get the vfd display to work on my current case it would already be a start, I am looking online but find such things scarce in SA.

On the other hand...if you decide to part with it , let me know, perhaps I can make a plan.

Is your DVine case grey/silver as well?

Why don't you custom build a TV stand or a low level stand and mount the TV?

I damaged 2 or 3 of the sockets where you screw the motherboard in. The screw head broke off and the bottom half of the screw is stuck in those sockets.

Yes, it is silver (brushed aluminium). I am in the process of designing/building a tv stand, but it might take some time before I get the end result. I am using the htpc case in my current HT display but had to take off the hardboad backing of my tv display coz of the big htpc case. You should be able to unscrew those screws or bolts and remove/replace them.

Yeah I haven't had time, will look at it if I buy a new machine.

Was thinking of swapping with you but you have a silver case
