I have a pc with an onboard VGA with the standard VGA out port and my TV only has the stand RCA video in port. How do I connect my pc to the TV?

Wrong.

Those in your link are component NOT composite.Above poster was correct,you need a CONVERTER because its different signals.

Tried one of these once into an LCD TV just to see if it would work. As expected it did not.

He's would be better off buying a low end video card like a nvidia 210 with with video output as it will also assist in decoding HD video besides offering composite/s-video output.

Agree that it's probably better to just get a gfx card with the required output.
