Where would one find these? Currently using torrents to download shows/movies, but I'm Telkom throttles the bejesus out of everyone during the day. Direct downloads seem to be faster, especially if using download managers. Anyone know of reputable sites with all the latest stuff?

Downstorm is basically a simplified seedbox, if I ever need any torrents I use them. Limited storage though for the price, but nice to have.

rapidmoviez.com - Use them for all your movies and series.

No torrents, just plain HTTP and as fast a hell on my Afrihost uncapped account

its like R160 a month for your personal "seed box" with unlimited bandwidth and huge disk space

I'll agree with HTTPS usenet being the way to go, but in my opinion you certainly shouldn't be using easynews. Astraweb (www.astraweb.com) offers 3 Months of 10Mbit/s service for 20USD. They have 1530 day retention and offer 20 connections. For client I'd recommend using SABnzbd (http://sabnzbd.org) and searching for free with something like BINsearch (http://binsearch.info).

Enjoy.

Easynews FTW!

And for a bit extra you can get uncapped access to their NNTP servers which is better even than http!

Astraweb does not offer HTTP/S access. Its only NNTP..

I actually have both easynews and astraweb because of the http search functionality and the fact that you can create your own NZB's and then download via Astraweb.

I would use the uncapped Easynews nntp bolt on, but I have had my astraweb account for years.
