Numerous web sites exist in order to provide quality content in exchange for displaying ads. Accessing the content while blocking the ads, therefore would be no less than stealing. Millions of hard working people are being robbed of their time and effort by this type of software.

And pornography should never be blocked on the same grounds.

I also use FF and ABP, but that was for back in the days when I was still using GPRS. Certain sites was still granted the right to show me ads while the others that was more bandwidth intensive (R2/MB for ads? no thanx) or intrusive ( YOU ARE THE 999 999 999th VISITOR!!!!!! ), was blocked. Still use it for this purpose, but I allow more ads to show now. But sidestepping the blocking of FF should be rather easy.

Someone should make an add on to "override" that blocking feature, maybe by "fooling" the webserver into believing that you use ie.

Surely loading hundreds of exstentions is bad for the program after a while, and all the updates.. they could build a little more into standard FF.

What? Oh. Did you go over to that thing in Vensters that they call a "browser", or are you on a Safari?

I also dislike running hundreds of different extentions. The useragent can be changed in FF itself. You can change it in the about:config option. But you have too Google it.
