So I wanted to buy a kindle for my wife for her birthday, started to shop around, got this good deal on smartspeakers.co.za, the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite - 16GB - 2023 edition at R3299.00

mmmh what's going on here, a price increase

and then in the cart just before checkout

So it has gone up from R3299.00, to R4499.00...... at least it is free shipping...
 
They did offer an apology

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We actually were not aware of this. We will investigate the bug on our backend what is causing this.

We can however honor the price of R3299. Would you still like to proceed with this?

Seem to be around but their site is slightly sus the typical electronics scam site vibes
 
I just wanted to bump this thread to confirm if these guys are legit or not. Can anyone who made a purchase from them vouch that the correct item arrived and had a good experience? Want an item they're selling but the price seems too good to be true.

Give them a miss. I am all for supporting local small business, but not with electronics.
