Hi guys.

My old trusty JVC doesn't want to work that well after 5 years. I have a budget of R1000. What is the best to get for this low budget?

I have a 12" 1000w Pioneer sub, 2 x 240W Pioneer 6x9", 2 x 6" Calibra splits in front doors and 2 X Calibra crossovers and 2 x tweeters.
These are run by a Kenwood KAC-7495 Amp.

I would go for the Pioneer... PERSONALLY I think it is better (quality spoken)...

Thanks for the er..... late advice. I ended up getting the Sony. Made a world of difference compared to my old JVC
