Anyone know if there is a way to set static ip's / reserved addresses on the Huawei B315? I can't see how. I set static ip's on all my devices, then the B315 goes and allocates one of those to some new random wi-fi device that connects, then my fixed device that has that same address can't get internet. I have to reboot the thing all the time. I've tried using another router (ASUS n17u) to handle the LAN with the Huawei B315 going in through the Asus's Wan port, but this noticeably slows down WAN traffic. The Huawei has a rain sim and is otherwise nice and fast. I have 4 pc's (wired) and 2 phones (wireless) on my LAN usually.

This is where it SHOULD be:

Next best thing is to increase the lower value of your DHCP range, 2 in this case, to something like maybe 15.. now the router will only assign new devices IP addressess starting from 15 and you can use 3 to 14 as static addresses for your devices..

I thought of that but haven't yet tried it. I thought maybe the router would just ignore those devices outside of the DHCP range and they wouldn't get internet or even LAN. I will try it - nothing to lose...

Hi
Sorry for the necro post, but this seems like the most relevant info for my B315 issue. How did you allocate the static IP's initially?
