Huawei b315

I recently got fiber and got a zyxel vmg3625 router. I had a huawei b315 and covered the house with little dead spots. The zyxel does not cover half of that. Can I use the huawei as my router with WebAfrica, or how do I add it as 2nd AP or repeater.

You have two options. The b315 has a wan port which you can connect to your ont device. Logon to the router and setup the pppoe login details.

You can also set it up as a second access point if you wanted to. Run a network cable from the zyxel to the b315 and plug it into Lan1. Ensure that the b315 falls into the same ip address range as the zyxel (eg 192.168.1.x) and disable dhcp on the b315. If you setup the same wifi network name and password, your wireless devices should automatically connect to the router which provides the strongest signal. Place the b315 at the opposite end of your house in the dead spot zone.
