Can anybody please tell me if a RAIN sim card will work in the above router?

It would work now until maybe the 1st November 2017. They didn't restrict devices before[LTE/LTE-A devices] but will be doing so as soon as next month.

The supported devices listed by Webafrica are:

Huawei B315
Huawei B618
Huawei B2338 (Outdoor)
ZTE MF253
ZTE MF283+
ZTE MF286

Remember there is a shortage of devices from Digitaplanet, best to enquire if you thinking of getting one with a device.

Afrihost is ETA 8 weeks on the b618 until that changes.

I have a b618 but am borrowing the sim to a relative and want to keep it. He can use the 593
