Huawei B683 - Add static DNS entry unotelly

Hi,

My setup is a Huawei B683 for internet access wired to a Apple Airport WiFi network @ home, Huawei B683 provides DHCP as well

I have unotelly up and running to connect to Netflix but I am having to enter their additional DNS entry into each device, have a Roku on the way and you cannot add DNS into that device itself, it has to come from the Router

Had a look @ the Huawei B683 and no where can I find where I could add in an additional DNS entry, it will just get DNS from MTN when it connects.

Anyone managed to do this?

I guess other option is to use the Airport Extreme as DHCP because then I can assign the unotelly DNS but am I correct in that I will have an issue to provide Internet access to the rest of the WiFi network because of the dynamic IP address MTN will assign to the router on connecting?

Nope, you cannot use fixed DNS server addresses.

It gets the DNS settings from your service provider.

I am with Kingrob on the DNS Server address. The same is true for many 3G connection devices.

I will see if I can setup my Extreme as the DHCP router and add in the DNS entry there
