Huawei B683 vs Cell C Netcomm 3G25W

Hi all,

Im in a dilemma, I just bought a Cell C giga 200 sim card.

I was under the impression that Telkom (Menlyn) sold the Huawei B683 routers. I asked them last week and they said yeah cool we have them in stock for R1300.

After i bought my Giga 200 sim from Cell C menlyn i went to Telkom and they said sorry Sir but we dont sell them anymore and havent been selling them since November last year... weird.

Now it seems as there are no physical stores that sell these Huawei B683 routers, ive tried everywhere. My next option is the Cell C Netcomm 3G25W router, does anybody have one of these? Are they any good?

Cell C Menlyn do not stock these btw, i have no idea why not but anyway, from what ive read here on myBB the Huawei B683 router is the best 3g router to get in terms of speed, reception etc.

Both are around R1500, id prefer the Huawei but i need one asap so ill be willing to go either way.

Also does anyone know any other physical stores i can get the Huawei from? or any online stores that sell them for R1500 or less?

Cell_C rep any stock of the Netcomm 3G25W in your PTA stores?

Nice set up man, how is the Cell C reception in your house though? Im surrounded by mountains and trees so our reception here is terrible across all networks even though we are "well covered".
