My Huawei Band 2 Pro strap is falling apart after 2 years. It's almost like it's becoming brittle, thin & splitting.
Is it possible to get an inexpensive strap in Cape Town, as the watch is now just over R850 & the strap is R299,, or should I look at budget Smartwatches from Takealot, such as the F22 or M8?

Keep an eye on the Huawei site offers. I saw they had band straps going for R80 or cheaper.

I'm in the telegram group and the huawei support folks posts specials every week. Here is one example from last month

Please update this thread when you get an answer... Mine is on its last leg.
Based in Jhb if that matters

Apart from the Telegram, anywhere else to get a strap? (lol.. mine is held together with superglue.

My Huawei strap split/cracked again on Saturday, so I went off to Makro on Sunday & got myself the Polaroid PA80, it was cheaper than Takealot, and I'm very happy with it..

For an inexpensive fitness watch, it's full of features & feels substantial on my wrist. It does sync with Google Fit & I would like to be able to port daily results to my PC, but I'm not sure if it can be done.

The watch does have various different faces. It is also interesting that Takealot has adverts for 2 different PA80's. One that shows a digital face & another with an analogue face. Thats the one I got from Makro for R720.00 & it has various other selectable faces, but not the one as advertised on the pictured digital faced watch. If that makes sense. I had seen the digital faced one on Saturday night on a friends wrist, which is why I chose the Polaroid watch.

Is it compatible with Discovery Vitality?
