Huawei E160 cellular modem - no support for USSD

Hi,

today discovered the problem.
As E160 and E169 Huawei cellular modems looks alike,
I tested both and today, to my surprise,
E160 showed no support for USSD

AT+CUSD=1,"*101#",15
ERROR

Both work fine with MDMA.
I get operator's name for E160 only.
E169 generates - operator: UNKNOWN in MDMA.

Is there any way to switch USSD in E160 on
or test it for USSD compatibility ?
